Partnerships

It is very common for franchise candidates to form partnerships in order to attain the resources necessary to launch and operate the business. In some cases, a franchisee candidate who intends on working the business day to day as the "operator" needs additional capital to start the business and so he or she joins up with a partner who can help bring financial strength to the project.

In other cases, an investor with significant financial resources cannot leave what they are doing in order to operate the business on a daily basis, and so they look for an operating partner to team up with to run the business. In either situation, it is the sum total of the liquid capital and net worth of the partnership as a whole that we look at when approving a franchisee or franchisee partnership.
