Proper alignment means that the wheels are operating parallel with one another and that the tires meet the road at the correct angle. Everyday road shock and general wear and tear can knock some of these angles out of alignment. When this happens, control of the vehicle may be threatened and the tires may begin to wear unevenly and rapidly. The car needs to be realigned to have all the proper angles restored.
Warning signs of improper alignment include:
- Unusual tire wear
- Steering wheel is off-center when the front wheels are pointing straight ahead
- Car wants to pull to one side or tends to wander or weave when driving
EXPRESS OIL CHANGE® & Service Center’s wheel alignment service adjusts the relationship between the suspension and steering components and the wheels and the frame of the vehicle through the use of advanced diagnostic and alignment equipment. In some cases, alignment may not correct the root problem that is making the vehicle perform incorrectly. An EXPRESS OIL CHANGE® & Service Center certified technician will be able to properly diagnose the issue and advise you of the recommended action.
Note: Alignment services are not available at all EXPRESS OIL CHANGE® & Service Center locations.
