Car A/C Repair Service

Never let them see you sweat.

When temperatures rise, the last thing you want is an unreliable air conditioning system in your vehicle. Because face it, a sweltering car in the summertime is pretty miserable — and sweat stains are never in style. Keeping your air conditioner maintained — and taking advantage of our free A/C performance check when you have a concern — can help you keep your cool.

How do you know if you need car air conditioning repair?

Some of the most common signs your air conditioning system needs to be inspected include:

  • Lost your cool – The air coming out of your vents isn’t as cold as it should be or has been.

  • What’s that sound or smell? – You hear a strange new sound or smell an odd odor coming from your vents.

  • Sprung a leak – An oily or greasy spot under your car, which could be your A/C system leaking refrigerant.

  • Time to roll down the windows – You have little to no air flow coming from your vents.

What is a car air conditioner recharge or freon recharge?

An air conditioner recharge involves adding some additional refrigerant to your system to make sure it cools properly. (Just FYI, while freon is a commonly-used generic term for refrigerant, it’s actually a brand name for a specific kind of refrigerant no longer used in the U.S.) An air conditioner recharge won’t fix any leaks in your car’s system (which we can fix!), but it will replenish refrigerant that has been lost from leaks.

Why isn’t your car’s air conditioning blowing cold air?

There can be several mechanical reasons why your air conditioner isn’t blowing cold air. You could have a refrigerant leak, need your cabin air filter changed, have an electrical problem, or one of your A/C system's major components could be broken.
